Some of the links on this page are affiliate links, so if you decide to make a purchase, a small contribution will be made to future Soultiply goal-setting research. Although this is appreciated, these books have been my fav long before affiliate links were added and it did not influence my decision to add any particular resource to the list.

Rising Strong by Brene Brown

One of my all time favorite books! Dr. Brene Brown conducts research surrounding shame and whole-hearted living. Her insights and discoveries are seriously life-changing. Don’t pick up this book unless you want to question your life and the way you take care of yourself while pursuing your goals. Her other books are great as well, but Rising Strong is my favorite by far.

The Artist’s Way by Julia Cameron

This isn’t just a book – it’s pure life transformation. This book follows a 12 week program that will help you tap into your creativity and remove blocks keeping you from a life filled with your passions – perfect for a creative goal-setting journey. To be completely transparent, I never made it past the 1st week of working through The Artist’s Way. In only one week I realized how powerful the work could be, and that it deserved my undivided attention in order to reap the full benefits (it’s not a light read!) But I plan on gathering together some of my close girlfriends and starting my own group soon! Would you be interested in joining?

The 4-Hour Workweek: Escape 9-5, Live Anywhere, and Join the New Rich by Timothy Ferriss

To be completely honest, I’m not always a huge fan of Tim Ferriss’ brand of life-hacking self-improvment, but this book is a clear exception. It’s actionable, step-by-step approach can be applied to a number of endeavors, especially for the entrepreneurial set. It made me rethink the way that I spend my time and efforts, which is valuable when pursuing any type of goal.

Excuses Begone!: How to Change Lifelong, Self-Defeating Thinking Habits by Dr. Wayne Dyer

I’ve read just about every book by the late Wayne Dyer, and this is by far the most powerful. Especially in a goal-setting context, once you finish this book it will be absolutely impossible to rely on self-sabotaging thought patterns to keep you from your goal. This book also holds a special place in my heart, since it was the book I was reading when I had a crush on a very special guy in college. I thought I would never have a chance with him, but this book reminded me otherwise. That man is now my fiance, so I’m glad this book helped me to remember that oftentimes we get allow our negative thoughts and opinions about our life get in our own way!
