AOL - What is it?
What is AOL? The AOL Toolbar is a browser extension. It has a few default buttons like Mail, Weather, and Radio, and the user can additional buttons.
Go to the server settings in the file. Click onOutgoing Mail and enter the settings. You can use the same outgoing server email setting to set up your AOL email for a Mac or Windows 10 mail app, an Apple iPhone or Android mobile app, or a web browser program.

AOL Desktop - Goodmail
AOL Desktop integrates a web browser, a media player and an instant messenger client. The version 10.X is an upgrade from the version 10. The version of macOS that is based on WebKit is the one for the macOS.
The previous AOL browsers and AOL Desktop versions were not the same as 10.X. Its features are focused on email and web browsing. One doesn't have to sign in to AOL to use it as a regular browser.

AOL stated in 2005 that it would be implementing a system called Goodmail, which would allow companies to send email to users with whom they have pre-existing business relationships, with a visual indication that the email is from a trusted source and without the risk of the email messages being blocked.
