Along with the usual voice-assistant mainstays like asking for the weather, playing music and turning smart home gadgets on and off, you can also ask the Google Assistant to run a quick speed test for your network or to pause the internet for a device or group of devices. You can pause or adjust the volume with a quick tap on the touch controls built into the top of each Point.

If you want to turn the microphone off, you can flip a switch. Three years of development separates the two internet companies, with different hardware capabilities. The AC1200 mesh system that is used by the internet company is capable of 1200 Mbps in the 5 GHz band.

The AC2200 speed rating is what you get with Nest, so you're getting a more capable access point. The 2X2 version of the internet service is more robust than the 4X4 version, and it was upgraded with the help of the internet service provider, Nest. The newest standards of encryption support Nest Wifi.

You'll be able to control your home gadgets and your internet service from the Google Home app. You can run a speed test from the app, and you can group your devices together to turn their wi-fi off. It's designed to deliver better sound quality than the Amazon Echo Dot. It promises faster responses to queries from the Google Assistant. It's more than likely that you can't tell the difference between the sound quality of the previous Home Mini and the new Nest Mini.

It can be hard to appreciate bass from a speaker that is larger than a hockey puck. The sound quality of the Nest Mini is not perfect. The speaker provides a full and crisp sound, but it doesn't have 3.5mm audio output, and it doesn't have room-filling sound.
